This week, The Esports Asylum will be taking you inside to experience some of the best esports events in North America! If you are a fan of gaming that loves an audience, then this is definitely for you. We will be talking about how to watch your event, what teams play which games, and where these venues are located.

In this article we will be diving into two major locations that hold large scale esports competitions, one indoor and one outdoor. Both offer great experiences for all types of viewers, with incredible production value.

Opens in 2018

This is one of Tesla’s more unique track experiences, offering guests an opportunity to drive their own car at full speed around a closed-course racetrack.

The vehicles that are allowed onto this track include any model year vehicle with less than 2,000 miles per the manufacturer. Drivers must be over 21 years old and have a valid driver license (no exceptions) and proof of insurance for the vehicle.

Guests can choose between either the standard Track Mode or Race Mode. In both modes, drivers use steering wheel buttons and pedal inputs to control various functions such as traction settings, engine rev limiters, aerodynamic adjustments and differential lock.

Track mode allows you to go up to 20 kph faster and distances are limited to 50 kilometers which equals about 30 minutes depending on how fast the car is going! You also do not need to take your foot off the gas to stop.

Has 12 racing divisions

The next level of Racing in America is called Late Model or Mod Ovals. These are typically race tracks that do not have NASCAR as their major sponsor, but they are still trying to gain the attention of the racing community!

These types of races usually have less expensive tickets than those for a more established track, making them more accessible to the average fan.

They also feature different classes of cars depending on how much money you have spent on racing equipment. There are Sedans, Street Stocks (also known as Sprint Cars), Modifieds, Supermodifieds, UTE-Sedans, Touring Cars, and even Wheelchair Races.

Worldwide Technology Raceway (WTR) has twelve different racing divisions which include modifieds, supermods, touring cars, street stocks, and wheel chair events.

Has a steep hill

As soon as you exit the highway, you have to climb up a small mountain before getting into the venue! Luckily, WDR is just a few minutes outside of Detroit so there are many close by restaurants and food trucks that anyone can visit while waiting for the race to start.

The restaurant scene in Michigan has never been better with almost every major city having at least one great eatery within easy reach. If you’re looking for something more unique than what the rest offers, look no further than the food truck park next door where you can find everything from Thai to Mexican cuisine or even sweets!

If your stomach needs some time to relax after the long trip here, there are also plenty of hotels nearby.

Has a casino

Located in Elkhart, Indiana just outside of Chicago, The All American Speedway is one of the largest motorsports facilities in America. With over 250,000 spectators attending each event, this track has become known as “The House with the Mighty I-Go”.

This 2.5 mile road course was designed by NASCAR legend Rick Hendrick and opened its doors to racing for the first time back in 1990. It now boasts two race tracks that feature different styles of racing and have very different layouts depending on which type of event you are attending.

Worldwide Technology Raceway (WTR) hosted their inaugural race on April 9th, 2016 when they held what they refer to as an invitational race. This was done so that teams could get some seat time at WTR before the full season event takes place in October. Six teams were able to compete in this race including three Sprint Cup Series teams, one Nationwide team, and two Camping Truck races.

Has food and drinks

Track day events are always accompanied by snacks and beverages. You will usually see people grabbing what they can as they wander around the track looking to meet up with friends or grab some lunch.

Most race tracks have vendors that set up shop at the event offering everything from chicken wings, pizza, burgers, salads, bottled water, and sometimes even Race Day Grub!

The vendors typically get paid per seat which is why you will often see large companies supporting the event by sponsoring local restaurants or giving away free food.

Will host the F1 U.S. Grand Prix in 2021

The racetrack is being built at Willow Grove, just outside of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. It will be home to three different tracks for various racing events throughout the year.

Just outside of Reno, Nevada is an incredible race track called World Wide Technology Raceway (WWTR for short). This 2.3 mile course was designed by renowned racer Chip Brewer and opened in 2004!

Since then, WWTR has hosted everything from dirt races to street courses to ovals. The track now features both amateur and professional racing events every weekend!

The best part about this racetrack is that you do not need expensive equipment or motors to enjoy it. All you need are some good shoes, a lawn chair, and a beer!

There is also a restaurant next to the track with great food and drinks. If you’re more into snacks than meals, there are plenty of vendors set up before each event as well.

Worldwide Technology Raceway is a perfect place to spend a day if you love cars, sports, and eating delicious foods. There are many ways to be active at the track without using heavy machinery, so even people who cannot drive can still experience most of the action.
